My name is Frank E. Vernon. This is how my strong faith began. I was born in Panama. My dad is a retired Baptist minister. He was sent to school through missionary funds and became a missionary himself. As a result I grew up in the Caribbean on the island of Jamaica as well as on the island of Trinidad. I gave my life to Christ when I was about 10 years old but stayed pretty stagnant in my faith. I immigrated to the US when I was 24 and joined the US Air Force. I went back to college in the 80’s where I took a class on US History as well as one on US Government. The professors in these classes were very Anti-Christian. They made it seem that all the things that made this country great that were accomplished by the pioneers was nothing but a lot of luck which was then attributed to God by a bunch of superstitious people. This made me angry but though I knew they were wrong I did not have enough knowledge to refute them. Consequently I started digging deep into scripture so that I would always have an answer for people like that. Something else happened though, the deeper I dug the stronger my faith grew. If you study the Word for transformation daily you will have strong faith. Now I just love to study the Word and grow in faith. Apologetics is still an area that I love.
